After communicating with Tech support I downloaded the most current audio driver package for Windows 10 from the Dell support page for each PC and ran the appropriate one on each system. I tried manually uninstalling the Realtek audio driver from Device Manager and reinstalling but that had no effect. The included the audio increasing in level every time I started an application that used audio (Hulu, Netflix) or a flash video on youtube until I turned it back down and all the Maxxaudio settings were missing in the Dell sound manager (or the Sound Manager wouldn't even load on reboot. After the upgrade I started having audio problems with the XPS8700 and the Inspiron 3647. All were running Windows 8.1 (64) and were upgraded to Windows 10 (64). I have 4 Dell PCs in my home network, an XPS8500, an XPS8700, an Inspiron 3647 Small Desktop, and an Inspiron 17 laptop.
